May 22nd , 2019, Lousa, Portugal; Global Premier Soccer (GPS) are pleased to announce a partnership with CD Lousanense, the primary Portuguese football club from Lousa formed in 1945, to establish a GPS Portugal club side that will develop quality players and produce teams that can compete locally, nationally and internationally.

The partnership includes collaboration with Valencia CF who will become International Technical Partners to GPS Portugal in line with their existing partnerships with GPS in South East Europe and the United Kingdom.

The agreement will see GPS and Valencia CF International staff provide year round influence, opportunities, experience and pathways for CD Lousanense players, coaches and teams not just in Portugal but also in Valencia and internationally. As a result CD Lousanense will expand their club programs on offer.

CD Lousanense will carry the branding of both GPS Portugal and Valencia CF with effect from July 1st, 2019.

Through this exciting partnership, CD Lousanense will have access to the Valencia CF methodology, technical support for their coaches and players and the possibility to attend Valencia CF Elite Camps.  It will open up opportunities for international collaborations with GPS franchises throughout the world. Players from CD Lousanense will be eligible to enter the pathway for US Colleges as well.

Additionally, GPS Portugal recently announced the partnership with Associação Académica de Coimbra, who play in the Liga Pro to form the GPS International Academy in nearby Coimbra.
